FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. What is ePayment?
    ePayment is an online payment service. It allows users to make payment to IPOS using internet modes of payment.

  2. Is registration required in order to use ePayment?
    You are not required to register to use ePayment. You are required to provide your contact information when you make payment.

  3. What are the payment modes for ePayment?
    You may make payment via eNets Credit/ Debit Card or eNets Internet Banking. However, please note that eNets Credit/ Debit Card is available for payment amount less than SGD 3,000.

  4. What is eNETS Internet Banking?
    eNETS Internet Banking is an Internet-based payment method operated by NETS that enables you to make payment from your bank account using your Internet Banking PIN and ID. Currently, you can only use DBS/POSB, UOB and Citibank accounts. For more information on eNets Internet Banking, please refer to the NETS website.

  5. What is eNETS Credit/ Debit Card?
    eNETS Credit/ Debit Card is an online payment gateway operated by NETS that allows you to pay for bills, goods and services online using your VISA Credit Card, MasterCard Credit Card, MasterCard Debit Card or VISA Electron Debit Card. For more information on eNets Credit/ Debit Card, please refer to the NETS website.

  6. How do I know that I have successfully made payment for my application?
    A receipt will be generated upon successful payment. Please verify the details on the receipt. Should there be any discrepancy, please inform IPOS within 7 working days.

  7. What do I do with the receipt?
    If you are making payment to file an application, please print a copy of the receipt and attach the receipt to hardcopy applications for submission to IPOS within 5 working days from the date of payment. The date on this receipt is taken to be the date IPOS receives your authorization of payment only. Your filing date can only be given when IPOS receives your complete set of documents with a copy of the receipt.

    If you are making payment with respect to IPOS's invoices, you should retain the receipt for your record purposes.

  8. What is the refund process for payments made on ePayment?
    Requests for refunds will be dealt with on a case-to-case basis. Please send in writing your request for a refund to:

    To assist us in investigating the matter and to process your refund, please include the following details in your letter of request:
    - Name of Person requesting for refund
    - Contact Number
    - Date/Time of Payment Submission
    - Amount Deducted
    - Reason for requesting for a refund
    - Bill Reference number
    - Credit/Debit Card Statement (if payment was made via Credit/Debit Card)
